Privacy & Data

Your information, handled plainly

We collect as little as possible, we don’t sell it, and we keep your health details confidential. Here’s exactly what that means.

What we collect

  • Booking & contact enquiries. If you call, text or email us, we receive whatever you choose to tell us. There is no contact form on this site, and we ask you to keep health details out of email, because ordinary email is not a private channel: health questions are asked instead on the secure health screen when you book, and in person at your first visit. If you do share something about your health that way anyway, it is treated with the same confidentiality as intake information. Enquiries are kept only as long as we need them to respond and schedule, then deleted.
  • Online booking. If you book online, our scheduling provider processes your appointment and payment details under its own privacy terms.
  • Health intake. For sessions, we collect relevant health history, medications, and goals so we can work safely. This is kept confidential.
  • Analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that measure visits in aggregate. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and nothing that identifies you personally.

How we use it

Only to respond to you, schedule and deliver your sessions, and understand—in aggregate—how the site is used so we can improve it. We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t send marketing email.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of service providers to run the practice: Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace product) runs the online booking calendar and holds your appointment details and whatever you tell us on the booking form — including the health questions we ask there — under Squarespace’s privacy terms; those answers stay in our scheduling account rather than being kept in ordinary email. Square handles payment and the consent form you sign online, under its own privacy terms (we never see your card number). Plausible provides cookieless, aggregate-only analytics, and our web host serves the site. They process data on our behalf under their own terms. We will only share your health information with another provider (such as your physician or physical therapist) when you give us written consent; see Care Coordination. The one exception: we may disclose information when the law requires it — for example a court order or a mandatory report — or as needed to respond to a claim you bring.

Your choices

  • Access or delete your information—email us and we’ll take care of it. The exception: records we’re required to keep — such as signed consent forms and session records — are retained securely for as long as law and professional-liability requirements make necessary.
  • Decline coordination—we never contact another provider without your written consent, and you can withdraw it at any time in writing (email is fine).

Cookies & tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking — which is why there’s no cookie banner. The analytics are cookieless and aggregate-only, and the fonts are served from our own site, so loading a page here sends no request to an advertising or font network.

One deliberate exception, and we’d rather name it than bury it: the booking calendar on our booking page is Acuity Scheduling’s, and it does set its own cookies so it can remember your place in the booking. It loads only when you choose to open it — until you click, no request goes to Acuity at all, and the rest of this site stays cookie-free whether you open it or not. If you’d rather not use it, call or text us at (970) 355-8790 and we’ll book you directly.

Colorado & your rights

We’re a small Colorado practice below the Colorado Privacy Act’s applicability thresholds — but we honor its spirit for everyone: you can ask what we have, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of emails, and we never sell personal information. Health details are shared with another provider only with your written consent, which you can withdraw at any time in writing (email is fine). This site isn’t directed at children under 13.

This is a plain-language summary, not legal advice. The practice owner should have a full privacy policy reviewed by a qualified professional before launch, and update it to reflect the actual form, scheduling, payment, and analytics providers in use.
